1993
Establishment of the company
Family company Obalia Ltd. Established in Pěnčín, Prostějov region. At the very beginning, only few workers produced wraps from home. In time, the first automatic machine was bought and first wraps and bags of the standard measures production started.
1999
First automation
Another production machines were bought. They were for processing of PP and PE material. Till this time, the workers processed these materials by hand. Increased volume of business and profit allowed buying another automatic machine for bags production. There was also increased number of company employees and the business department was established.
2005-2008
The production extended
The production extended – Moving to the village Krakov because of not enough space. Buying of 3 new automatic machines and a folding machine.
2008-2017
The biggest growing
The biggest growing – Moving to the space of 1700 m² in Prostějov. During this period, the company grew the most. Buying of 4 automatic machines, new working places in production, business and warehouse. Production of new goods such as zip bags, bags with slider, chamber wraps, laminated wraps up to 8-coloured printing etc.
2017
Growing to current size
Moving to the current space with the aim to create a new production space that provides extend and streamline of our production to be more competitive. The erea of the building and the warehouse is 3000 m². The warehouse has more than 2000palette places.
